Hannah Steele thought it would be a normal day on Pelling island. She'd go to school, come home, and see her dad. But no. Hannah is oblivious to the upcoming earthquake. As she walks out the door to head to the Matlock's house to babysit, she feels confident and ready. She isn't worried about the asthma inhaler she left on her nightstand. She had no clue she'd desperately need it later that night.
The house rumbles and there is no access to cell service, electricity, or help. Hannah tries to cheer up Oscar and Zoe (and Jupiter, their pet guinea pig) and make the best of their situation. But soon, things go haywire. Join Hannah, Oscar, Zoe, and Jupiter on a wild ride as they face gas leaks, asthma attacks, bears, broken legs, bleeding, sleeping outside in a tent, and eating s'mores made with baking chocolate. The challenges they face are daunting, so read "The Disaster Days by Rebecca Behrens" to find out what happens next!
This book is amazing! I got it for my birthday and as soon as I started reading it, I couldn't set it down. This book is by the same author who wrote "Alone In The Woods". I love both of her books so much and I highly recommend this book if you like exiting, yet slightly scary stories! It's an irresistible page-turner!
