The Thief of Always

Updated: May 3

It was a dark and stormy night. Harvey Swick's heavy sigh is what brought a strange intruder into his house that night. The intruder, Riktus, tells Harvey that he needs some fun in his life, so he takes Harvey to a place full of wonder and joy. Mr. Hood's Holiday House.

At first, the house is all fun, everything is perfect, and nothing goes wrong. But soon, Harvey discovers the terrifying truth behind the house's tricks and schemes. He then knows what Mr. Hood is up to, and he knows what he must do to to save himself, his family, and all of the other children at the house. Will Harvey become a hero, or will he fail to complete his task, and suffer the horror of The Holiday House for the rest of his life?

I love this book, and it's one of my favorites! I highly recommend reading it. It's highly suspenseful and creepy, but it is also about family and friendship.

"You know you've read a good book when you turn the last page and feel a little as if you have lost a friend."
